Harvested in the fall, this wildflower blend is a mix of late summer and early autumn goldenrod and asters. As with all of our honeys, it is not filtered. For our intentionally raw honeys, however, we allow the comb debris to settle out in the jars to encourage faster granulation and then immediately maintain the jars at an optimal cool temperature to give it a creamier consistency. The top waxy layer is edible and can be blended in with the rest of the honey or it can be removed to access the honey below. Raw honey can be stored at room temperature.
